A couple of big things came into my life recently to majorly shift things for me, and I want to share this with you. My hope is always that my sharing will inspire and help all of you. I also find writing to be very therapeutic and I encourage you to give it a try. Let’s talk about my recent big shifts.
Two things were recently sent to me to make some big changes. First was Bob Proctor’s book Change your Paradigm, Change your Life and second was the fabulous Christina Fletcher. We are going to talk about this awesome book next time. The best book I have ever read that I hope all of you will also read. Today is all about Christina. The magical, mystical, spiritual, wonderful, Christina Fletcher. Everyone would be so lucky to have a session with her. She has been blessed with a true gift to help people!
Christina Fletcher is a Spiritual Alignment Coach, energy healer, author, speaker, host of the ‘Showing Up Whole’ podcast, and a wife and mother of 3. My amazing producer Adrienne Barker brought Christina into my life. She asked if I wanted to have Christina on my podcast and I couldn’t say yes fast enough. You can listen to her on her own podcast and on mine: The Whinypaluza Podcast Episode 346, Spiritually Aware Living. I knew that Christina does Spiritual Alignment private sessions, and I knew that I wanted to do one.
I have a private, free, supportive mom group on Facebook called the Whinypaluza mom group. Christina commented on one of my posts recently and her post spoke to me. I started to think about what an amazing lady she is and how much I wanted to do a session with her. One of my lessons here – stop thinking about things and actually go for it. Just do it!
Not only did I book a session and absolutely love it, I also encouraged my husband to do a session which he just did. We both found it to be life changing! Go find her at spirituallyawareliving.com.
What did Seth and I learn about ourselves and how have we changed? Let’s start with me!
The thing about me is that I always feel like I need to be doing more. When I bring up getting a traditional full time job like a school social worker, Seth doesn’t seem thrilled. He would support me all the way if that is my dream job – but I am going to be honest here as I always am and let you know that my husband and children are very spoiled by me. I work around them and tend to be available for whatever is needed. Today Seth left the house with Ella at 7:15 AM and will get home at 7:15 PM tonight. A 12-hour day for my honey. He can work whenever he wants. He can travel whenever he wants. I hold down the fort and I work when I can (right now for example). I fit in working between the hours of 9 AM – 2 PM weekly and I am notorious for working on the couch at night after I feed everyone dinner.
Christina pointed something out to me that I hadn’t realized – I work for Seth more than I think I do. Let’s add it up right now: blogging, vlogging, podcasting, newsletter, consulting. I use my social work skills with Seth and his company almost every day and I have been giving myself zero credit for it. Seth already knew this but hearing it from Christina changed a lot for me. It’s all about perspective and what we see. This doesn’t mean I won’t keep adding more work to my list. It just means I wasn’t seeing the big picture of everything that I am already doing. Seth sees me as a partner in life – both at home and at work. Time for me to see this too.
My body goals:
I want to be a good example for my children.
I want to live a long healthy life.
I want to be chasing my grandkids one day.
I wanted to whip myself into shape.
I’ve come a long way AND let’s keep going!
Christina used emotion code and cleared some things out for me. Christina’s words to me, “Where attention goes, energy flows. Your stories matter. Your brain chatter matters. If you are looking at a scale and focusing on what you don’t like, more attention is on it and more energy flowing to that. Same too with face structure, gray hairs, wrinkles…notice where you are thriving, what’s beautiful, what’s improving, and your body will thank you.”
Christina explained that when she focused on her gray hair, more gray hairs appeared. As we look in the mirror, we need to pay attention to what we are saying to ourselves. Example: as I looked in the mirror this morning, I complimented my body on the lines now prominently coming down my stomach. As I notice good things about my stomach, my stomach will just keep getting better. Christina explained that if we are looking at the fat on our stomach, we will get more of that.
As I am working out, I am thanking my body and telling my body to notice that “I’m doing it!” As I do arm weights I am concentrating on my biceps. Wherever our attention goes, our energy flows there and makes it happen.
As I got on the scale this morning, I got excited by my progress. “Look body, the scale keeps going down.” I’m really doing it and as I notice this more and more my body will cooperate. Give yourself positive messages and watch the difference!
Creating better boundaries:
Every year as I get older (and wiser), I get better at creating better boundaries for myself with others. As a child and teenager, I was not good at this. As of today, I can tell you that I have made a lot of progress in the right direction and that I want to keep making progress. I gave Christina a prominent example in my life with needing better boundaries, and she helped me tremendously. The first two shifts were big, but this shift was the biggest and most needed one!
Christina explained to me that some people have leaky energy and that our energies got too intertwined. She explained to me how to clear out the energetic cords. I love the spiritual work that she did with me, and I have no doubt that it significantly worked. What I want to emphasize to everyone is that Christina and Bob Proctor (author of Change your Paradigm Change Your Life) both talked about sending out love to people. Bob talks about thinking about the three people annoying you and sending them all love. He talks about how what you send out to the universe it what you get back. Between the spiritual work I did with Christina, and shifting the energy I am sending out, I can’t begin to tell you how differently I feel. I feel significantly better. I feel a weight lifted off me. I feel great!!!
Christina says, “Boundaries are set with intentions rather than actions. Keep focusing on your feet, grounding and taking care of your field when you start to feel someone’s energy leaking into you.”
My summary:
Seth and I are partners at home and at work. I do so much more than I think I do.
Focus on good things about my body – my body will continue to give me good results.
Send out love into the universe and I will get it in return.
Now for Seth! I am going to summarize a couple significant points for Seth:
Writing is extremely therapeutic for Seth, and he needs to do it!
Write your story. Write how you want it to go and then watch it come true!

Between Christina Fletcher and Bob Proctor, I feel a big shift in myself! I am excited to see where this goes. I am so thankful to both of them. Go talk to Christina and tell her I sent you! Keep working on yourself. I am going to tell you that if you can dream it then you can have it! Dream big!
